Those are on the digest, and they are computer generated, but by
mailman, not by hotmail. As most people don't use digests, they don't
see them, instead they have that same information hidden in the email
hæaders.

Mailman also supports:
digest_header (digest): Header added to every digest
Text attached (as an initial message, before the table of contents) to
the top of digests.
A link might be able to be put there, but it would only be seen by
people subscribing to the digests.
