1)  You need to find the location of your hosts file .

For win98 from memory its in /windows directory
in Windows XP its in /windows/system32/drivers/etc directory

2)  open the hosts file with a text editor such as notepad

3)  then at the botoom of the file on two separate lines enter
128.40.58.202 www.openstreetmap.org
 128.40.58.204 tile.openstreetmap.org

4)  save the file and you should be able to see the new servers
