I'm just waiting for the story of how the navigator hypnotized the
driver and took control of the car and drove down the wrong road.
It wasn't me driving the car, it was my navigator!
It wasn't my fault, I was asleep / drunk / abducted by aliens!
Notice how the article says "the ambulance" (not the driver) took
twice the time it should have, and how the satellite navigation
system directed "it" (the ambulance, not the driver) into a narrow
lane. I've heard about driverless trains in some countries, but I
didn't know England already tried driverless ambulances.
If you start always to ask "who?", you'll find a lot of
differences between European and American journalism and culture.
