It apears to me that Martin can consider in sufficient detail to be
perfectly aware that there are differing views on the subject. I also
hope and suspect that everyone in this thread can agree with me that we
should be free to hold and express whatever views.

I find the views martin expressed pervade many aspects of life,
including what many hold as their raison d'etre of OSM, and the
practical implementation of OSM.
It is possible/likely that someone who cares about beer over libre will
make a DLJ licensed/packaged SUN JVM which is as easy to install as
Apple's very soon. But remember that this would likely not have happened
without the efforts of those looking for libre. (I will explain in
detail off-list if you wish).
