I've been putting note=... or question=... or todo= tags on some ways - not 
sure whether that could be used more widely.  

You could also imagine a system with (e.g.) "wikipage=[[IoW_coast_path]]" tags 
to link to discussions about something (to be followed manually for now, with 
the option for editors to display those links in due course)

your timestamped current distance away from it, ideal for burglars.
