Yes, but that creates an orphan page with no links to it. These are
*very* hard to find. Nick Hill's method guarantees that there is at
least one link to your new page so people might actually read it:

> Create a link to the non-existant subject. Click the link, which will
> take you to the edit page for the new subject.
