[OSM-talk] how to remove deleted nodes/segments from .osm

I have a problem..
I'm tracing the milan map, using my gps recordings..
some days ago, in a test to verify how other people is tagging the
nodes and segments, i downloaded cambridge datas..
after deleting i saved my osm file..
now.. i have a 2Mb .osm full of deleted nodes/segments from cambridge..

how can i purge all that unusefull datas from JOSM or other tools?
i'm under FC6.
