jep, proper error handling is the next thing I need to include ASAP.

Anyway, it doesn't find the gpsbabel executable. It's not included in 
Gebabbel (yet), so if it is installed somewhere, you can select it via 
the preferences.

But still the app is buggy and not intended for real use yet. I'm 
working on it right now and hope to release an improved version soon.
