We've been here before; see the thread starting at
<20061003132522.96219.qmail at web30802.mail.mud.yahoo.com> /
http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2006-October/007797.html

I would very much like for OpenGuides (http://openguides.org/) and
OpenStreetmap to interoperate in terms of providing data layers but
sadly I don't have much time to devote to that at the moment. We do
export lots of geo-tagged RDF though so if anyone fancies a project, a
mashup that overlays OSM mapping data with our data, with hyperlinks,
would be cool.

If you turn on "Google maps" at
http://oxford.openguides.org/wiki/preferences.cgi
and then visit pages in
http://oxford.openguides.org/ - in particular
http://oxford.openguides.org/wiki/?action=index;format=map
you'll see OSM featured already.

The difference is that OpenGuides focuses on a smallish communities
compared to OSM; we have a project in the pipeline to provide a single
portal frontend for aggregating data from various OpenGuides instances.

Dominic.
