[OSM-talk] Tagging areas

Hi,


I hope this question is not a very silly one. I just have created nodes 
and segments describing a lake. Then I made it a "way" and assigned the 
waterway=river tag. For proper rendering, I guess I should use anything 
else. I did consult the search engine with the two o's and 
wiki.openstreetmap.org but haven't been successful yet. Any hint, even 
RTFM or a latitude and longitude pointing to an example in josm would 
be great.
