[OSM-talk] National Cycle Network refs

Sorry, another convetion question: on National Cycle Network numbered
routes, should I have
  ref="NCN 51"
or some such, or just "51". If just "51", how is this distinguished from say
a local cycle route number?

Also where it runs not along a cycleway but, say, a residential road, should
the residential road be ref="NCN 51"? And what happens when the road is,
say, ref="B1111" and "NCN 51"?
