It says on the wiki, and is clear from use, that the Landsat data can be
considerably misaligned with GPS data.

Is there a way to shift the layer a small amount to manually align it with
surveyed features, or better (more accurately) to define a quadrilateral at
four dispersed know points to skew the landsat images? Over a small area
this could then be a pretty accurate background.

If not can I suggest this as a useful addition to the Landsat plugin. It
would make it easier to plot land use data.
