Once the wiki and OSM user names have been unified this makes a lot of
sense. At the moment the OSM username is not very prominent and can be
altered by the user at any time. The wiki Id is more persistent. The
user's home page on the wiki is also the most obvious place to document tag
usage guidlines.

Hopefully the two will get unified sometime soon - which will be the master
when that happens?
