The latest planet.osm seems to be corrupted somehow. Should
probably be deleted.

$ bzip2 -tvv planet-061029.osm.bz2

    [4878: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [4879: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [4880: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [4881: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [4882: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [4883: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [4884: huff+mtf file ends unexpectedly

I have tried downloading it twice. It ends right in the middle of
an entry:

$ bzcat planet-061029.osm.bz2|tail

bzcat: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
        perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
bzcat: Success
        Input file = planet-061029.osm.bz2, output file = (stdout)

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.
