Presumably the source could be 'memory'.  For example there is a village 
called Sway about 15 miles from where I live. I "know" that two of the roads 
are called Manchester Road and Brighton Road, simply because I remember 
things like that. 

IANAL, but I cannot see how anyone could claim infringement of copyright over 
that, simply because they would have no proof - I am 100.00% sure that those 
are the correct names. Similarly Auckland Avenue, The Rise and Armstrong Lane 
in Brockenhurst, again about 15 miles from where I live.
