It might be useful to label pubs with "type=urban" if they're in a street with 
20 other pubs and cluttering up the map, so that renderers can choose not to 
display symbols for them.  You can reasonably assume there will be pubs in 
anything village-sized or larger, so it's not necessary to show them on maps 
(though it is useful to have them in the database for city-centre maps, 
pub-crawl generators, etc.)

Similarly, we could mark pubs "type=country" if they're somewhere more 
difficult to find, to show that it's worth showing them on maps.
