[OSM-talk] GPS Units for the Foundation

Just as a follow up, Garmin website has the following firmware updates
listed for the Etrex:

#  eTrex Ver. 2.14 as of Jun 14, 2002
# eTrex/eTrex Camo/eTrex Summit Ver. 3.50 as of May 29, 2006 - Compatible
with versions: 3.00 or greater

So how do you tell if it’s a version 3 unit when buying an old unit on ebay?
