Not at all - that's not what I'm saying. gpsbabel is a command line  
program on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, FreeBSD etc etc. There are various  
graphical front ends for it - but obviously they tend to be platform  
specific - and everyone has their own ideas about how to make a GUI  
for gpsbabel - so which one would you target?

Well there's a whole other 'learn to love your command line' thread  
there - one which I can bore you with for as long as you can stand it  
- but that wasn't my point :)

I wasn't evangelising any platform - gpsbabel works on the Windows  
command line just fine :)
