The fact the competition doesn't recognise the efforts of SteveC doesn't 
reduce my feeling that the competition is insane.

As it stands, the contest is the number of gps points collected, The 
prize is a megastar. It therefore fits the definition of a competition, 
so I will call it a competition.

Let's recognise the contribution everyone has made. Let's not single out 
people who have uploaded a huge number of GPS points. That way, everyone 
can feel good about what they have done. If we did this, then it 
wouldn't be a competition. Let's award everyone a Megastar.
