Thank you for your kind words.
Meanwhile a member of OSM even phoned me!
I found that you have to allow cookies, which I added to the description.

@ webmaster: it would be nice to give the advice that cookies has to be 
allowed for logging in, for oblivious people like me.

of course Richard, of course. The difference is, some are newbies, some not.
Only the other can alter it to the better.
As I promise I will help to make the slope less steep (translating + 
makes silly screenshots), as I detest  bad user interfaces like most of  
"us".
