[OSM-talk] Line Breaks in JOSM

I have been wondering for a while now, why sometimes when I move a node, 
some of the segments that visually appear attached to it, do not move with 
it, and stay where they are, with no node at the end.  I then have to delete 
the segment, and redraw one.

I have resently come to think that this only happens when I download data in 
JOSM, in 2 seperate goes, and the split between the two downloaded chunks 
doesnt connect right.

Are these apparnet breaks in the Line just within JOSM, or do they upload 
incorrectly as well?...causeing damage everytime I download more 
information.
