[OSM-talk] Proposal for place=suburb core tag value

I've added the proposal

I'm currently mapping Sydney and have been using the place=town and 
place=village to visually identify the various suburbs.  Apart from 
being smaller than a city, I don't think they correlate well and 
propose this separate category.

I wonder what those mapping large European cities feel?
