Digg is terrible. The people it has tempted away from other sites like 
slashdot or boingboing are the absolute consumers. The people who just sit 
there all day and expect instantly gratifying entertainment to be fed to them 
now now now.

Digg is about 100 times worse than slashdot. Compared to digg, a discussion on 
slashdot is like a group of expert professors having an after dinner 
conversation. That's how bad digg is.
