[OSM-talk] Reply: New Forest - thanks, tagging and lost keys

Only there for the Sunday but I had a great time too. Cycling the
cycle-designated routes in NW of area was good fun and stiff exercise.
It is certainly good to meet others on the project. So the combination
of helping add more data to a specific area, good exercise doing it,
seeing a new area (real good closeup encounter with two dear on a remote
cycleway), and a social element (top lunch as Rob noted) make it very
worthwhile to do. Thanks to NickW for coordinating. I can heartily
recommend it to anyone. If you have vaguely thought of going on the
Surrey Hills, Rutland or Swedish/german ampping weekends then sign up
now at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Current_Events

Cheers

Yes, I had a really great time, and it was really great to put some more
faces to names from IRC/mailing list. The weather was absolutely
perfect, although I'm going to have to go to the gym an extra time this
week to work off the carvery dinners (yes, plural!).

Ah. I suspect that was me. The padlock was out of a Christmas cracker,
and was in the same pocket of my backpack as my Garmin Data cable. It's
probably not worth the postage to return them too me.
