In my code, the waypoints become nodes - and because my earlier patch displays 
node names, the waypoint names will appear alongside the node.

The jar is available at
http://nick.dev.openstreetmap.org/josm-custom.jar

but that url probably won't work right now as dev is down. Hopefully by the 
end of today though.
