OK thanks for that.

Actually I'm probably going to change the way areas are shown. At the moment 
they're filled in - which isn't much good if the area is covering other data. 
I'll either change them to polygons with a hole in the middle - or - longer 
term - implement some more intelligent stacking system so that areas are 
shown before other types of way. Let me know if you would appreciate the 
latter.
