OJW has enhanced the tiles at home server to allow mutliple layers.
Currently, in addition to the standard layer, a "cycling" layer and a
"maplint" layer are defined. Client support for creating multiple
layers is there in theory (I have uploaded a new client and announced
it on dev), however the layer configuration is not finalized and I
hope that a few early adopters are going to test the new client
before everyone uses it.

I have created the maplint layer tiles for London yesterday; most
other areas will probably still lack maplint data. If you are keen on
creating maplint layers for your area, download the newest tiles at home
client and run it on your area (but watch what it is doing and tell
me if something doesn't look right).

The server defaults to showing the base map tiles if you select a
layer for which there are no specific tiles available.

The maplint layer is on a very strict setting at the moment, i.e. you
will probably see a some things marked yellow or even orange that are
perfectly ok in the area where you are mapping. We will have to fine-
tune the maplint tests together over the course of the next few weeks
so that everyone is happy. The way in which the maplint results are
drawn, and the colour coding, is also just a quick first shot which
will hoepfully develop.

The "cycling" layer will start rendering as soon as its style sheets
are fully defined. I believe 80n is working on that.

Bye
Frederik
