[OSM-talk] Yahoo applet is overwrite-zealous?

I am mapping parts of Zurich, Switzerland and a couple of ways that I
had created have been removed in the last couple of days. (the segments
still seem to be there) I noticed that in the vincinity of the
corresponding ways somebody has been using the YahooApplet to insert new
segments.

Is it possible that the Yahoo Applet likes to partially download areas
and on uploading removes some of the ways it doesn't know about? Is
something else going on?

I don't think there is an evil guy systematically removing my work, but
this is kind of annoying.
