Where in my reply did you see me state that ? That must be your own
conclusion, since thats not what I said.

Fact : Erle, Jo, and Chris was/is involved in a project of similar
nature as OSM.
Fact : Who of the above except for Chris, has checked any code into
OSM's SVN for the benefit of the OSM community ?
Fact : Where 2.0 is comming up. Which of the mapping/free geodata
collection projects have expanded and developed since Where 1.0 ?
Fact : Who wants to show results at Where 2.0, but aren't able to in the
same scope as OSM ?

Chris has merit in my book, just like Steve has. It doesn't mean that I
don't look at their statements or motives without scrutiny. Au contraire.
I've disagreed with Steve too. The difference is that Steve doesn't see
people as "enemies" or goes "passive agressive" when people disagrees
with him. If he did, there would have been a whole lot of people who
couldn't participate in this debate. If he did, we wouldn't have OSMF.

The items Chris wants are on the way in the Rails port, just like it was
stated here on the mailing list. So what reasons are there for stirring
up things ?
Also, all the code for everything regarding OSM is in SVN. People are
able to put their actions where their mouths are. Checkout the code,
make the changes they want, then submit a diff for review and possible
inclusion, instead of just shooting of their keyboards.

Thats how I added the stuff I liked to see in T at H and previously in O at H.
Of course I could have done like it seems to be the fashion at the
moment, and just been passive agressive towards almien or anyone else
involved in T at H, untill the features I wanted got done.

But hey, we're all different. Some do things constructively, some do it
destructively. I know which way gets the best results, so I'm sticking
to that.
