But still not the full hour, that the API was unavailable.  Is 
anything else starting at midnight?  Backup?  Updatedb?  I'd like 
to watch "top" on that machine when this happens.  Could we make 
that (watching top) a part of the API, so that it doesn't require 
a shell account?  Perhaps that doesn't work if the API really is 
completely unavailable.
