I use BSGPSPDA.  Accessible as a download from the Wiki 'Making Tracks with
HomeBrew'.

There's a full range of utilities for any of the activities relating to OSM,
including downloading the OSM tiles and using the map to track your
progress.  You can also overley the tracks you are producing to make sure
you don't lose any data.


There's also a very good laptop version (BSGPS) for creating static maps.
