[OSM-talk] animated history rendering

hi!

I made an animated GIF from the several periodic (cca monthly)
snapshots of Ojw's MapOf, resulting in a nice canimation:

does somebody have some tiime anresources to come up a tool, which
would generate such animations automatically from older planet dumps?

other ideas?
