  The data in question being the college locations which were being
  plotted on top of the map, not taken from the map.  We suspect that
  was coming from a list of the college postcodes and NPEmaps
  postcode stuff, but whatever, it's not the OSM map, and as the
  person Dom quotes says, OXPOINTS or whatever can mashed up with any
  underlying map, so we still don't have an answer as to why the OSM
  maps are no longer linked from the ox.ac.uk site.
