I was on a (well deserved?) holiday in laos & cambodia. Sorry for
the interuption. And yes I got some gpx traces from over there.

I intent to continue on it but I must admit that development goes
in spurts...

Let me take this opportunity to say that I encourage anyone who has
patches (like you) for Merkaartor to keep sending them to me, or if
you have a subversion account to just go ahead and apply them yourself.
