[OSM-talk] Regarding OSM to GML

Hi,

I am looking for some information on how to use the osm2gml python script 
(http://london.freemap.in/osm2gml_simple.py.txt) to convert OSM into GML.  I 
am familiar with python but is very new to OSM.  I have downloaded the OSM 
data set Planet-070131.osm, but not sure what to do with it regarding 
converting it to GML.  I would be grateful if someone could explain a bit 
the steps involved on how to prepare the OSM data to be converted by the 
script.  Any advice is much appreciated.
