[OSM-talk] minimum standard tags

Hi,

Not so newbie, but I would like to ask what would be the minimum tags
to add to a way?
I usually add the following tags using JOSM:
created_by
highway
name

What would be the standards or common practice?  When I'm editing with
the landsat image (no street-level map of my area in yahoo!), I add
the source tag.  Do I need to add this when its from gpx tracks?
