that may help for a long way containing many segments. I'd prefer a true
way tool which creates a way in one step.
As I'm mainly mapping a city, I have many streets which only consist of
two or three segments, but I have many of them. What I can imagine is:
* Rename the current way tool to something like "Combine segments" or
"create polygon" to avoid confusion
* Create a true way tool which will create nodes, segmentes and make
them a way in one single step. In the optimal case it even can insert
nodes into existing ways
But as I'm not able to write the code by myself, I have to shut up :-) .
