It seems that

http://www.airport-weeze.de/2-3-4_bus_essen.php?lang=en

is the official bus transport listed on the airport page (Wiki updated), 
but the schedule on that page is only valid until end of March.

I'd say don't worry about the bus, if all else fails Jochen will surely 
be able to find someone to pick up the Ryan Air travellers by car. (And 
if this requires multiple trips to the airport, I'm sure there are 
enough unmapped streets along the way to make it worthwile!)
