[OSM-talk] International variations of the is_in tag?

Hi everyone,


I am about to add a few places in Turkey. If I unterstand correctly, the 
values of the tag is_in seem to be in english only. The proper turkish 
names sometimes differ from the english ones.

Should I simply add both spellings, the turkish and the english ones? 
Does this break any tag hierarchies?
