Not really. The very small bit is a morning meeting, principally a
discussion between four of us (Steve Chilton and me as practising
cartographers, Artem as Mapnik coder, SteveC as implementer-in-chief)
on how to get the Mapnik slippy map rendering effectively and
attractively at different zoom levels. The outcome will probably just
be an svn code change.
This isn't related to Osmarender, which is what I think you're talking
about above and which has a separate development process. Nor is it
related to Map Features (whose primary purpose is surely to influence
how things are recorded in the database, not to dictate a rendering
style to the many, many possible clients?).
The afternoon is a public OSM meetup to which anyone is invited, and
at which we can all openly share ideas with any Osmarender folks who
want to come!
