Or...

...you get a Virgin Train home from somewhere, which proceeds to do  
an unscheduled tour of most of the railways of central England  
(including several that don't regularly get passenger trains) due to  
engineering work, broken-down trains in front, etc. etc., thereby  
giving you theoretically most of the source material required to  
complete WikiProject United Kingdom...

...and all the time you have 0 GPS reception because of that coating  
they put on the windows.
