[OSM-talk] Slippy map initial presentation

Excellent, very useful. Could some text be put on the page to this effect! 

Also could the link include which base is being used?

A way to make the map area larger (or make it fill the browser window) would also be good.

Also, can someone explain what's happening here:

Is this simply because some tiles haven't got rendered at this zoom level yet (compare with the osmarender version)? I mapped this area on February 2nd.
