For those who don't speak French...

The part talking of data acquisition is about Teleatlas. They have 20 
campers like the one shown on the video (cameras on the front, rear and 
sides). Drivers are people with no special qualification, paid 1500 
euros per month. All they have to do is drive and control the video 
recording. They drive about 8 hours / 350 km per day.

Videos are analyzed in India, by 450 person.

Teleatlas report 21 million kilometers of surveyed roads. 20% is 
refreshed each year.


The rest of the reportage is about the growth of the GPS market since 
2000, with a visit at Tomtom office in London.
