[OSM-talk] JOSM niggle

OK - I reported a problem with missing ways earlier in the week. It has 
just happened again while I was updating a few areas from todays GPS tracks.

The tracks cover a larger area, so I loaded one, zoomed in on a section, 
then downloaded the OSM data. All fine and added the new roads to that 
section, uploaded, then I zoomed out, selected the next area by zooming 
in, and did a second download, which had all the segments, but some were 
not attached to the ways previously loaded.

I dropped into edit on-line and confirmed that the way was continuous, 
and finding no problem, I wiped JOSM and did a clean download. This time 
the way was complete, so it looks as if JOSM has a problem when updating 
ways where part has already been downloaded? I'll just delete the data 
layer after an upload, and do a clean download and It's been fine every 
time so far.

Anybody seeing the same problem.
