Nick,
In my way of thinking your suggested key/value pair is logical and
appropriate, it effectively covers the administrative aspect of the feature
and in reality is probably the only way to define the feature from the Yahoo
imagery. You might also think about adding the physical feature (hedge/fence
etc) wherever this is discernable or obtained from other sources.
