I don't know anything about GIS standards at all.. are there any standard
mechanisms/protocols/formats or whatever for describing changesests in
geographic data? The main problem as I see it with feeding back data here is
maintaining references to the OSM primitives being edited -- this is needed
so a proper history can be maintained (and eventually presented). If there
is some nice way of handling changes, then a conversion filter could
presumably be applied to put the changes back into OSM... if not then there
may need to be more hackery.
