Reminds me of how I recently drew ridicule from a colleague to whom I 
preached about the benefits of having free and open map data. He said 
that Google Maps was all he needed, and I was stupid enough to reply 
something along the lines "and even if these commercial services are 
free of charge, you always have nasty advertising" - prompting him to 
point out the advertising on the OSM pages.
