KEY TAG
highway motorway
ref I 89

Subject: [OSM-talk] Clarifying Key Value editing in JOSM
So do I cut and paste values into properties boxes in JOSM and would I enter, say Interstate Highway 89 and then paste in value <tag k="highway" v="motorway"/> or is naming seperate and I should only add in "highway" and is the name the KEY and the value the TAG? I would suggest standard drop down selection by country (if that is the model you are persuing) to lessen the learning curve and make it simpler, especially for all those new GPS afficianados that have been anticipated. Thanks for any help in comprehending this.
Lewis
