[OSM-talk] mapnik db rendering

Hello Artem,

Whilst we're on this subject what units are the Mapnik scales in? Are they 
pixels per km?
The Freemap rendering I'm doing uses pixels/km scale (actually only two 
scales, 100 pixels/km and 50 pixels/km).
