It's worth noting that most people were using the applet rather than
JOSM because of the aerial photos, which is probably unique to this
mapping party. I've noticed a few bad data things that happend to my
area when I reviewed the data in JOSM after creating it all in the applet.

* The applet lets you create a segment that connects a node to itself.
JOSM shows such a segment as an arrowhead pointing to the east with no
arrow behind it. You can delete them in josm by drag selecting the node
they are on, selecting them from the select list, then using the delete
tool. To me this represents a bug in the applet, a bug in the backend,
and a bug in the database structure, all of which should enforce such
things.

* The applet doesn't display the direction of segments, so it's likely
that they end up in random directions and the resulting ways end up all
over the place, causing osmarender to make a mess of the labelling.

* Sometimes when adding a node to an existing segment using the applet,
it fails to move the existing segment. You end up with the original
segment plus a segment that overlaps half of it.

* (possibly connected to the above) Some segments have appeared that
shouldn't be there and I couldn't delete - I got the error "segment in
use". They don't seem to have downloaded when I look for them again
today, so maybe they are fixed.
